well, not quite Argentina but I was over around the tour Argentine yesterday and I couldn’t resist…
It was quite a warm day so it was nice to be up a bit higher in some fresher air, on the way back we took the bus down to the valley and it was like an oven at the bottom.
That’s not photoshopped, it’s a Giant Yellow Gentian probably around 1m80cm tall. They’ve just come into flower and they’re all over the hill at the moment.
It’s a fairly long route as we walked but there’s a huge variation of scenery, from alpine forest to mid-mountain meadows, high mountain pasture and more forest and fast water with fantastic views of the Muverans massif all the time.
