This week I was up on Pierre du Moëllé above Leysin in warm spring weather. I though it would be a great place to go with nice, clear weather and views over to Mont Blanc like this one:
We climbed quite a long way up onto the ridge and might have gone further but as the day warmed up I was concerned about the growing danger from wet snow avalanches. It would have been quite possible to go further but the descent would have been difficult.
I can see there’s also been a hare around here (below) you can the distinctive track on the photo.
