This is over in canton Berne on the other side of the col du Pillon. It’s a classic local ski tour and with good weather and great snow it was fairly busy yesterday with about 15 people on the summit when I arrived. I’d climbed up a different route than the one I’ve taken before, in the past I’ve gone up the valley and over the dam but this time I took a more direct line which was quite good. I varied the descent as well passing below Hindere Walig which was pretty good in places but overall not as good as skiing a more southerly line as I ended up booting along a track at one point.
