Some of our guests had been up in this area in the last day or so and reported there was still a lot of snow in some gullies so we decided to take a quick hike around and see. I think it’s probably the case that we were the first people to take this particular route this season. The reward was some encounters with marmottes and some chamois followed by a pizza and a beer in the village.
