First Ski

Sorry, no tales of epic steep descents, it’s only November. Having been running a First Aid course over the weekend and then travelling to the UK tomorrow this was the only window to have a ski this week.

We popped over to the col des Mosses with no clear plan other than to skin up something and ski down. The car park between La Lecherette and Les Mosses was empty of course so we parked there and climbed up through the closed ski area to the ridge and skied down a line mostly following (I think) a red run. It’s about 10-20cm of fresh snow on no base but it’s all alpine meadow so you do turn down grass a little in places.

Nothing intense but a nice few hours on a sunny day somewhere nice!
