As we’re on the last days of the lifts covered by the MagicPass it seemed a good idea to visit Ovronnaz and use the lifts to access some of the great touring terrain above the ski station. I had actually been there a week before for a micro-tour with some friends and conditions were pretty good. If anything, yesterday was better as there was a fuller re-freeze overnight.
As a little treat, we finished our ski tour, had a snack in the ski restaurant and then visited the thermal baths. The baths are a great way to finish a ski tour, enjoying their outdoor pools in the mountains is really excellent and I’d recommend it!
