It’s not like we’ve not been many times but this was the first time for the spring/summer season. It was one of the last ski days I got as well (Tour Famelon ski). We walked up from the chalet and did the circuit of the Famelon, fully expecting that there would be a lot of snow on the north face but equipped with ice axes and crampons to make light work of it.
