There’s a great valley between Lac Hongrin and the Haut Gruyere region. It’s reached from the barrage at Lac Hongrin and passes through some picturesque alpine meadows. There’s a really nice buvette in the valley with really fantastic local produce from their own farm. The route is about 36km long with about 850m of ascent.
We’d left the car at La Lécherette and Julie was on her non-electric bike so she waited at Les Moulins while I used the e-bike to rapidly climb the steep trail back to the car.
