I’ve considered this route a few times but it’s pretty clear from the map and my memory that some sections are not easily rideable. And, that’s exactly how it turned out, the descent from the col d’Isenau has a few flowing sections but there’s a few sections where it’s pretty tricky. I was surprised that the ascent to Pra Cornet was so tricky though, it’s pretty steep on a difficult surface and quite challenging.
I did stop at L’Etivaz where the tourist office maps will tell you there’s bike charging. In reality there’s some power points and you need your own charger. No doubt this is better than nothing but it feels like it adds very little, many restaurants will let you plug a battery in anyway. But the real problem is that in this region at least there’s no indication on the maps or tourist office website whether you’ll need your own charger or not and that is an obvious problem.
