This was actually in two parts, I’d been with Sarah but she had COVID and only managed a part circuit so I went back and completed the route a week later. I’d say it’s a bit mixed, some sections are excellent but some are quite tricky. My overall feeling was there was a better route to be found than the VTT542 route. I’ll have to try that again sometime!
Moosalp is in the Valais canton above Visp so it has amazing views over the high Valais. There’s some great sections of classic Valais single track in forests and over high pastures. As the route passes through a few villages there’s some good places to take a break and get food or drink.
