Booking
- Bookings may be made by online, email or phone. Telephone bookings should be confirmed in writing where requested.
- PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS – To register interest in a course, a provisional booking may be taken pending a deposit or payment as above but this will not guarantee your place on the course.
Cancellation by Client
- All cancellations must be in writing
- We will endeavour to re-sell the course place
- In the event the course place is re-sold the client will receive a full refund less 10% to cover administration costs
- Refunds will only be made after the start date of the course has commenced
- In the event that the course place has not been resold, the client will be charged the following cancellation fee:
- Over 4 weeks before course commencement = 20%
- 2 – 4 weeks before course commencement = 50%
- 0 – 2 weeks before course commencement = Full course fee
Cancellation by Us
- Every effort will be made to ensure advertised courses are run but, if a course has to be cancelled we will advise clients as soon as possible
- We will advise clients not less than ten days prior to course commencement if a course has to be cancelled due to insufficient numbers booked on a course.
Minimum numbers are sometimes required to run courses
- In the event of a course cancellation by us, clients will be offered a full refund or a place on the next available course.
Other Conditions
- NON-ATTENDANCE If you do not attend a course, and you have not previously informed us, the full course fee remains payable and non-refundable
- CERTIFICATION Certificates are provided for successful completion of training/assessment as appropriate and are supplied only following full settlement of course fees.
- If you arrive late for a course or absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skills in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable. To conform with the qualification requirements for statutory certificates, attendance at all sessions is mandatory.
SwissMountainLeader does not accept liability for the consequences of strikes, riots, acts of war or terrorism, disease outbreaks, government intervention, natural disasters or adverse weather conditions. If such occurrences cause us to have to cancel a course we will offer an alternative if possible, but accept no liability for the return of fees paid prior to cancellation or curtailment.
Law: All legal matters relating to fall under Swiss Jurisdiction. The place of jurisdiction is the Canton of Vaud.
