Isenau isn’t the first choice for snowshoeing but right now they’re only running a couple of drag lifts for skiing so the upper slopes are empty making it quiet. As has been reported, with suitable hysteria, the snow’s not been ideal for this time of year. A lot of ski stations haven’t been able to operate all their lifts and I’ve needed to get quite high to snowshoe. Fortunately, there’s a few lifts open for pedestrians to get us up to the snow line.
